Using Finoro

Does Finoro lend money? No. This preview publishes information and tools. The provider makes lending decisions.
Is the directory comprehensive? No. It contains selected research profiles, not the entire South African market.
Are the cards actual offers? They show published conditions. The lender supplies your individual offer after assessment.
Does comparing affect my credit score? The reviewed local comparison tools perform no credit checks and submit no applications. A provider may check your credit when you apply separately.
How do I contact Finoro?Use hello@finoro.co.za for publication or privacy issues. Contact the lender for account matters.

Ratings and eligibility

What does 4 / 5 mean? The sum of five disclosure criteria. It is not a customer-review average or safety certification.
Why a low score or Pending?Reviewed evidence may be incomplete or conflicting. Pending means no defensible numeric assessment was assigned. Neither establishes misconduct.
Why can a matching service score higher? Its own disclosures may be clearer. The score does not rate its partner loans; compare the same type and review the scope.
Does being within a ceiling mean I qualify? No. Limits may apply only to returning customers. Assessment can produce a lower amount or no offer.

Calculator and repayments

Why are costs R0?Interest and fees start at zero until you enter quoted charges. That scenario does not advertise an interest-free loan.
Why do payments differ from the average?Equal principal repayments and interest on remaining principal can produce changing payments. Average payment is total divided by months.
Are the dates my actual due dates? No. They are editable scenario dates. The agreement supplies the contractual schedule.
Why can a longer term cost more?Interest and monthly charges may apply for more periods. Compare total repayment as well as monthly payment.
What should I check before accepting?Principal, interest basis, every charge, full repayment, first debit date, schedule and late-payment consequences. Include existing commitments in your budget.

Corrections and repayment difficulty

Report an error with source evidence. See the privacy notice for data questions. If payments are becoming difficult, contact the lender and check the NCR register when looking for a registered debt counsellor.
